Contracting

The team at Something Blue has worked in the Lake Geneva area for over ten years. We will guide you through this phase, making sure you don't waste your time going from place to place to find the right fit for you. We can help with venue sites and selection, timing issues, vendor recommendations and negotiation of contracts. Our intention in this early contracting phase is to negotiate the best pricing on all contracts without sacrificing the quality you need to make your wedding day flawless.  We do not accept commissions of any sort from the vendors we work with; any discount we might receive from working with vendors is passed directly on to you.  

Planning

Beginning approximately twelve months before the wedding, planning your big day will kick into full gear. Allow us to help you with everything from invitations and escort cards, to linens and flowers, to coordination of vendors and creating a timeline to make your wedding the day of your dreams!  Resources like Pinterest, Style Me Pretty, The Knot and many others are great to be inspired by, but we love the idea of creating an event that is a reflection of YOU and your story as a couple.  Allow us to get to know you and we will suggest small touches that will be memorable to you and to your guests.

Execution

It's a once-in-a-lifetime event and you don't want to spend it worrying about the little details or tasking your friends and/or family members with last-minute needs. After meeting with you approximately six weeks prior to the wedding, your lead coordinator will be intimately aware of everything that needs to happen and make sure it goes according to plan.  We will handle any issues that crop up and be the go-to people for all questions, so you are left to just relax and enjoy the day.  Your lead coordinator and her assistant will be there right up until the end of the night to collect your personal items and return them to a pre-specified location.

Ceremony Only

Specifically for brides getting married at Flat Iron Park, Library Park, or any other venue that does not have an on-site coordinator. We will ensure your wedding ceremony goes off without a hitch, rain or shine!

What Am I Forgetting???

An intensive two-hour meeting with clients who have planned their own event but need a professional to look over the details to make sure nothing has been missed. At this meeting, we review the goals and basic structure of the event and then pinpoint with the precision of a laser beam the things that need attention and in what order.
